Batman: The Dark Knight Rises... But Does The Film Rise?
The plot of the new Batman film is pretty simple. After taking responsibility for the crimes of Harvey Dent (also known as Two-Face), Batman is chased into exile by Gotham City Police. Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the appearance of the mysterious Selina Kyle (played by Anne Hathaway) sets in motion a chain of events culminating in the arrival of Bane, a ruthless terrorist with plans to destroy Gotham City. He's the one with the crazy Hannibal-Lecter style face mask. With the future of the city at stake, Batman must emerge from his exile and confront Bane.
As you might know, there are many famous faces in the Hollywood blockbusters and this film is no exception. The unique angle on this movie is all thanks to Christopher Nolan who changed the concept of Batman in this year's film. He also directed films such as "Inception" and "Insomnia" and says this movie is his biggest story.
"It's the biggest story I've told and I'm very excited about it."
